I should really mention the teachers Jen (Ms. Baker), Mrs. Draper, Mrs. Ruth, and Ms. Freeland are awesome. I would recommend this school for anyone who is looking for a school and not a daycare. “Discovery Trails is definitely the best preschool in Colorado Springs. They are not a day care, but real private preschool offering education rather than babysitting. The curriculum keeps the children interested in learning and children excel in academics because they love it. In addition, the school brings in other teachers to teach art, drama, language, and PE. The school has a very low teacher to student ratio and the teachers have undergraduate and graduate level degrees. Not only does the school offer education, but they help students build confidence, social skills, and critical thinking. Many children leave Discovery Trails with reading and math skills well above age expectation. Being a small school also encourages a great community-feel and the teachers do home visits to get to know the students at their level and place of comfort before they start school. Highly recommended!!!”
